Essentially, Air is going to be about the former sports marketing executive Sonny Vaccaro when he was a shoe salesman at Nike and how he worked his way up to sign Michael Jordan in his initial years to wear Nike’s shoes. If the movie sounds similar to a book already out there in the public, then you are right because it is on the same lines as Shoe Dog by Phil Knight, the co-founder of Nike. Although Shoe Dog is more of Knight’s memoir, we do believe this film will take some inspiration from it to tell Vaccaro’s story.
The Air poster is crispy made, showing all the essential characters of the film in a comic-book-like collage. The caption for the poster reads: “Every legacy has a beginning. Watch AIR: Courting a Legend.”

The film is scheduled to arrive in theatres on April 5, 2023. It will also be available on Amazon Prime, although the date has not been released yet. With the growing interest in the Nike world every year, the film seems like a promising one that will engage us.
