Agent Elvis: All About the Musician-Turned-Spy Animated Series on Netflix

Agent Elvis is an upcoming animated series that will be premiering on Netflix. The show was created by Priscilla Presley and John Eddie and was developed by Mike Arnold and John Eddie, who also serve as Executive Producers along with Kevin Noel, Matthew McConaughey, Priscilla Presley, with Fletcher Moules serving as Co-Executive Producer and Seranie Manoogian as Producer.

Titmouse served as the animation studio, and John Varvatos, the renowned designer, custom-designed Elivs’ clothes for the series. The announcement of the series was done on Elvis’ 42nd death anniversary. Music and original score were composed by Tyler Bates and Timothy Williams.

Agent Elvis Cast

Matthew McConaughey will be voicing the lead role of Elvis. The stellar ensemble cast consists of Ed Helms, Don Cheadle, Gary Cole, Priscilla Presley, Johnny Knoxville, Kaitlin Olson and Simon Pegg. The supporting and recurring cast includes Christina Hendricks, Kaitlin Olson, Fred Armisen, Jason Mantzoukas, Tara Strong, Ego Nwodim, Niecy Nash, Tom Kenny, Craig Robinson, Tony Cavalero and more.

Agent Elvis Plot

The plot of the series follows the legendary singer Elvis Presley himself, who goes from singing and performing to becoming a secret super spy for the government. The singer leads the life of a double agent to protect and serve his country. He weaponises rock and roll to defeat his enemies and win every battle. Leading a life as a rockstar by day and spy-vigilante by night, the show will explore how the celebrity manages both aspects of his life.

The series is filled with dark-comedy undertones, adult themes, and profane language. The short trailer of the show gives us an overview of how the story will unfold. It will mainly surround the singer and follow his perspective on the events. Popular songs by the celebrity are also included in the series.

Character designs are done phenomenally well and give the 70s singer a modern touch. Various characters are included, hence their relationship with Elvis will also be explored. The creators do not shy away from including adult jokes and giving the series a mature look. The show looks promising, and is expected to be a blast of entertainment.
