Adamas (2022): Everything to Know About the Thriller Kdrama!

Series Overview

Adamas (아다마스) is a thriller-mystery Korean drama series directed by Park Seung-woo and stars Ji Sung in the lead double roles of Ha Woo-shin and Song Soo-hyun.

The series brings Ji Sung to the screen after The Devil Judge where he played Kang Yo-han, a chief judge with hidden ambitions. Along with Sung, the series will also star Seo Ji-hye, who was last seen in Kiss Sixth Sense opposite Yoon Kye-sang as Hong Ye-sool, a woman who can see the future when she kisses someone. Other than them, the series will also star Lee Soo-kyung, who was last seen in Law School and Where Stars Land.

Adamas Plot

A little snippet from tvN’s description of the plot reads:

“Two men with different tendencies as the sun and the moon.
In their own way, they face a huge force of darkness…!

The older brother, Soo-hyeon, is looking for the real culprit.
Wooshin, his younger brother, is looking for Adamas.

Two and one, the twin brother’s truth-seeker.

The story of the mystery-thriller follows twin brothers Soo-hyeong and Woo-shin, who discover 22 years after a grisly murder that their biological father is innocent of the crime that he is accused of committing. Now, on a time crunch to save their father from capital punishment, the two brothers, one prosecutor and the other a mystery novelist, must fight against all odds to clear his name.

In the middle of this are two other people who help them in their quest to find the truth and help their father.

The trailer promises this thriller to contain tons of ups and downs and will keep everyone guessing with the question – who, or what, is Adamas? Will the brothers be able to figure out who framed their father? Why did the murder occur in the first place? All of these questions will be answered as the series progresses, and hopefully, it will keep the audience on its toes!

Adamas Cast

The cast of the thriller drama includes Ji Sung, Seo Ji-hye, Lee Soo-kyung, Seo Hyun-woo, Oh Dae-hwan, Go Yoon and Heo Sung-tae, alongside other cast members.
