The promo for Koffee With Karan Season 8 Episode 5 is now out. The next guests on Karan Johar’s chat show are his two favourite students, Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra. They discuss their time when KJo was shooting in Los Angeles for My Name Is Khan, Varun’s interactions with girls, how he was selling Shah Rukh Khan’s picture to other girls, their lives before marriage, and other related topics.
As the promo shows, Karan refers to them as the ideal husband material for the world, but in his eyes, they are merely Ken without their Barbies. Varun requested Karan to ensure that he doesn’t ask any questions that could affect their relationships with their partners, as the show is known to create controversies. Karan also reveals the time when he was shooting at UCLA in Los Angeles for My Name Is Khan and how Varun was taking photos with the girls back then, when both Varun and Sidharth were assistants to Karan. Sidharth discloses that Varun was using Shah Rukh’s name to obtain the pictures.
Karan also reveals that before these boys got married, they were having very steamy affairs with their costume department. Varun responded by reminding them of his dad’s film, where there was a character named Shadi Ram Ghar Jode, jokingly called Kjo ‘Karan Johar Ghar Tode’.
Hi Karan, it’s me, and the buzzer game is finally back! As we see in the promo, they are standing in front of a podium. Varun asked Karan, ‘How did you manage to get Salman Khan to say yes to a movie?’ Meanwhile, Sidharth asked Karan to name three best friends from the industry, to which Karan just made a face, resulting in a hilarious response. During the rapid-fire round, Karan asked Varun a question: ‘If you could record an automated message for your trolls, what would it say?’ The Bhediya actor responded by saying, ‘I think you’ve mistaken me for somebody who values trolls.’
This season keeps getting better with each passing episode. The last one was considered the best so far, featuring Kareena Kapoor Khan and Alia Bhatt. From the promo, it seems like this upcoming episode will be a blast, too, especially since Alia revealed the strong bond between Varun and Siddharth shared with Karan. It feels like we are in for a lot of juicy gossip from this episode.
