Finally resuming their much-anticipated fun-ride of reality shows, NCT’s third sub-unit has treated us with the NCT DREAM Starstruck trailer on November 20, 2023, and the quests awaiting the septet and us have been teased as a joyful rollercoaster ride. Starring all seven NCT DREAM members, collectively and lovingly known as “7DREAM”—Mark,, Renjun, Jeno, Haechan, Jaemin, Chenle and Jisung—the upcoming Korean variety series will situate the K-pop stars in the midst of a series of challenges and missions that will compel them to pull their socks of confidence inevitably.
With the group largely consisting of introverts, as has been alluded to in plenty of their online content, this brewing chaos will reel in numerous troubles for them, while simultaneously showering the fans with doses of serotonin and happiness. Premiering first on YouTube with a preview of the first episode (@NCTDREAM‧) on December 1, at 12 PM KST, the show will later be broadcast on Weverse on the same date at 6 PM KST.
Even though there are many NCT DREAM variety shows out there to boost your interest in the group’s career, not many of them feature all seven members together. So, following up on the 7DREAM streak set in place by 7llin in the DREAM and 7llin in Our Youth, the Starstruck NCT DREAM series will also bring back all seven of them, a highly sought-after feat as far as DREAMzens (fans of the unit) are concerned.
This version of NCT DREAM reality show 2023 will pose many challenges to the SM Entertainment septet as not only will the squad have to run their own food truck, but they will also be seen partnering up with their local fans on the streets of Los Angeles and chatting with them to complete their endless list of quirky missions. NCT DREAM will be visiting Santa Monica Beach and other wonderful LA locales, including a school campus, to express their heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to the fans for supporting them all these years.
On the music front, the K-pop septet recently collaborated with American singer-songwriter JVKE to release their revised English remix version of Broken Memories with him. This song was initially released as part of their third studio album, ISTJ, in July 2023. Moreover, ahead of the partnership with JVKE, Renjun also released a music cover of the former’s hit song Golden Hour on November 15.
