Netflix seems to be on a roll with its range of reality shows and Risque Business Taiwan is the latest saucy addition to its list. The popular raunchy Korean show is back with Season 2 and this time, it will take on Taiwan. The show has been created by Jung Hyo-min and Kim In-sik. It will have 6 episodes.
Sex is considered a taboo in various parts of the world but this show locks horns with the topic and offers an experience that many viewers dig. By doing this, the makers transport us to a different world altogether, one that we take pleasure in exploring, but are afraid to admit it, right? Well, there’s no shame in admitting it. And the show itself is proof of that. Here’s more.

Risque Business Taiwan Cast
Comedian duo Shin Dong-youp and Sung Si-kyung will be returning as the hosts of the show. They will speak to the people and explore the sex culture of Taiwan.
Risque Business Taiwan Plot/Storyline
Like the first season, this season takes on a country and “investigates” its sex culture. Last Season, it was Japan. In this one, it is Taiwan aka the Republic of China (ROC). And mind you, if you haven’t seen the first season, you should know that it is a deep dive so if you feel like you should put on your earphones, you probably should.
Dating, the porn industry, sex toys, and every possible angle of Taiwan’s sex culture will be explored. Interviews from couples and what they feel about relationships and sex is bound to spice things up for the viewers. And let’s just accept that it is a topic that can never go out of fashion. And getting to know the experiences of others and being able to connect with them feels really exciting, especially in this scenario.

Risque Business Taiwan Netflix will also explore the country and we will get to see the lifestyle of the people of Taiwan and how they go about their lives, their opinions on stuff. While the main topic is sex culture, it won’t be wrong to say that the show throws light on a very personal aspect of our lives, thereby helping us be more comfortable about it.
Opting for two comedians as hosts is also a strategy of the makers to make the subject more casual and easygoing rather than very serious. Personally, I think such shows have a role to play in today’s society that still has a long way to go in terms of openly talking about sex culture. Let’s wait and see how the show turns out.
