It is now time to see the deadliest dude on this side of Shegekuni Genryusai Yamamoto as Kenpachi Zaraki makes his way back into the fight. Let’s see how Bleach Thousand Year Blood War Part 2 Episode 7 goes in this review!
Bleach Thousand Year Blood War Part 2 Episode 7 Overview

What is there to be said about Bleach that hasn’t been said before? It is one of the most popular anime in the West of Japan of all time and is considered a part of the Big Three, a trio of anime widely recognised as having been a part of popularising the medium of anime. The show is back after a hiatus of nine years, as its first run ended in 2013. The newest season of the show is being developed by Studio Pierrot, the studio behind the original series, as well as other giants such as Naruto and Tokyo Ghoul.
The second part of the final arc of Bleach is directed by Tomohisa Taguchi, who has been involved in the productions of Persona 4 The Animation and Twin Star Exorcists, and the series is based on a manga written by Tite Kubo. This episode is also referred to in original Japanese as Bleach Sennen Kessen-hen Ketsubetsu-tan Episode 7 (Bleach Sennen Kessen hen Ketsubetsu tan Episode 7) and Bleach TYBW Part 2 Episode 7. Bleach Thousand Year Blood War Part 2 Episode 7 Review- I Am The Edge

Like every Shonen anime, no matter how well-written the overall plot of Bleach has been so far or will be in the future, fans of it are always going to pay more attention to its fight scenes. We have had several iconic ones, such as Ichigo taking on Ulquiorra, Grimmjow, Kenpachi, and Byakuya, and Yamamoto taking on Yhwach. All of these have become immortalised because of their action, character writing, score, or a combination of all three. We already had a great fight scene in this season already, just in the previous episode. However, it is time to add another, perhaps the best we will see all season.

This was something else altogether. This was absolutely phenomenal, and let’s talk about all the things that made it so. First and foremost- Kenpachi Zaraki’s return with his newfound powers and his Zanpakuto’s name. His sheer presence in the show again is incredible, and there is no doubt whatsoever in him being one of the most interesting characters in the story. His powers are beyond anyone’s understanding, and the show’s steady exploration of them has been a true delight. There’s so much more to him, and that’s the part that excites people the most.

Then comes his opponent, Sternritter V- Gremmy. Bleach is now two for two in absolutely fantastic villains in two consecutive episodes. I don’t want to spoil what Gremmy’s deal is, as you should check him out for yourself. How does someone even come up with powers that he has? What was Tite Kubo thinking when crafting him? Did he know how absolutely wild his imagination was to create somebody with powers like Gremmys? How did he think to put him up against Kenny?

Well, I thank the day that he did because he created a masterpiece that day. For a character that was only introduced in Bleach Thousand Year Blood War Part 2 Episode 7, Gremmy made an immediate impact because of his strength and the sheer creativity of his powers. Kenny, of course, was Kenny and fought exactly how you would expect him to. The two had absolutely fantastic chemistry and tore bits off of each other, and despite the fight not lasting for very long, they managed to make an impact on Soul Society that will last until the series comes to an end.

Sure, there is a conversation to be had here about the fight being too short when compared to the earlier behemoths the show has had, which featured entire filler arcs in between these iconic battles, but it is just a different world these days, where not only would those fights not fly, but people would actively tune off because of them. This battle was perfect because of its length, not despite it. It is not believable anymore that Kenpachi could be in a multiple-episode-long battle simply because that’s not his style. This was perfect for what it was- from animation to character design. This was peak Bleach.
Verdict
Bleach Thousand Year Blood War Part 2 Episode 7 was everything that you watch this show for. It had phenomenal action, fantastic animation, great music, and, most of all, beautiful character writing. This won’t be easy to top.
