Behind Your Touch Episode 3 Recap

Ye-boon visits Jang-yeol at his place and tells about her junior having a girl kidnapped and captivated. Jang-yeol asks whether she knows where he stays and who that missing girl is. Since Ye-boon only saw the kidnapped girl through her psychic power, she finds it hard to give more details. This pisses Jang-yeol and he kicks her out. She keeps nagging him to believe her but he denies.

Ye-boon takes the mission into her own hand and finds her junior’s location. When she reaches there, she tries to get in but he comes by and catches her. Somehow she manages with a lie and they both spend some time. Ye-boon tries to touch his back again for confirmation but instead touches the cafe staff’s back and reads a fetish memory.

Ye-boon fails miserably at her mission and ends up finding no evidence. Back at her hospital, Sun-woo brings his kitten and she injects a vaccine. When he leaves, she gets the idea of checking the cats’ memories that live around her junior’s house. When she reads the memories of all the cats, she finds nothing. That night she meets with her best friend Ok-hee and her boyfriend who is none other than the cafe staff whom she previously read the memory of. Apparently, he is the cafe’s owner.

She gives a hint to Ok-hee about her boyfriend’s fetish and leaves the cafe, following her junior who crossed by. She visits his home again (before he reaches) and reads another cat’s memory and finds his house lock number. She opens his house and checks every room only to find a streaming set-up. When she prepares to leave, her junior comes in. She hides in the restroom and escapes by breaking out from the ventilation. On her way home, Jang-yeol spots her and helps her remove the brick base from her waist.

She tears up and asks him to trust her but he rejects. She hints at one of his memories, triggering him. They have a quick conversation and the duo depart. Ok-hee assembles all her girl followers and assigns them to report to her if they find any woman near her boyfriend. The next day, Ok-hee confronts Ye-boon and asks her to give her proof of her boyfriend’s betrayal. Ye-boon visits the cafe and gets Ok-hee’s boyfriend drunk to get answers.

When he becomes drunk, she carries him to a motel. Ok-hee gets information from the people she assigned regarding a woman carrying her boyfriend to a motel. Both Jang-yeol and Ok-hee break into the room where they misunderstand Ye-boon and Ok-hee’s boyfriend. At the police station, Ok-hee gets mad at Ye-boon and the latter pleads her to check the cafe owner’s house just once. Ok-hee leaves disheartened. Ye-boon yells at Jang-yeol for calling her a pervert.

Ok-hee barges inside her boyfriend’s home and knocks a woman down. However, she gets startled when she sees the woman’s face and realises that it is none other than her boyfriend wearing feminine clothes. She learns a new secret about her boyfriend, wishes him the best, and leaves wondering how Ye-boon found out about this. Meanwhile, Ye-boon surfs through MeTube to find the streamer and she does come across the woman.

She learns that her name is Sia and realises that her junior has set his room similar to Sia’s to lure her in. Ye-boon finds the address of Sia and reaches there. She calls Jang-yeol and informs him about it saying that she trusts him and that he will come and save the victim. Jang-yeol cuts the call and assists his fellow cops on another mission. At Sia’s place, Ye-boon is confronted violently by her junior. When Ye-boon gets choked, thankfully, Jang-yeol comes in and saves her.

Both Ye-boon and Jang-yeol save Sia from her near death. The culprit gets arrested and Sia is sent to the hospital. Ye-boon asks whether Jang-yeol has decided to believe but he denies it out of pride. However, a flashback is shown where Jang-yeol is seen declining to assist his colleagues on the mission, trusting Ye-boon and running to save her. Jang-yeol accepts the fact that Ye-boon can see people’s memories and offers her food as a token of appreciation.

Behind Your Touch Episode 3 Review

The series’ third episode did its best with regard to romance and comedy. The chemistry between Ye-boon and Jang-yeol is already looking strong, thanks to their frenemy relationship. Despite Jang-yeol mocking Ye-boon as a pervert, when he trusted her and ran to save her, the K-drama vibes set in perfectly. Apart from this, Sun-woo and Ye-boon’s chemistry also looks so beautiful. The love triangle is going to be intense, that’s for sure.

Speaking of comedy, the episode includes various light humour there and here, making the flow of the jokes seem natural. There aren’t too many cracking moments neither less but just the best. Thanks to the supporting characters like Dok-hee, Ye-boon’s aunt, and her lover Jang-mook, they’re adding much spice to the comedy.
