Clock Plot/Synopsis
The official trailer description for the film reads: “Clock is the story of a woman who enrols in a clinical trial to try and fix her seemingly broken biological clock after friends, family, and society pressures her to have children.” Throughout the trailer, we see the recurring theme where Ella’s friends, society and even family members keep taunting her about not having kids. Although we see that Aidan is completely okay with it, Ella finds the truth hard to believe.
Ella does not really want children either and she very much believes that her biological clock is broken. However, she agrees to get into a trial program a biotech firm is conducting where the goal is to procreate as the tech firm truly believes that procreation is the real meaning of the evolution of species. Thus starts a series of events that leaves Ella and the viewers horrified and helpless.
