Kiss Kiss Review
With a main character who has no boundaries and a damsel in distress who needs rescuing, the story is cliche and uninteresting. From start to end, there was not an instance when the plot took an original route and tried to make the movie a tad bit different. It felt like I was watching a film with the exact same plot and ending, only in a different language. Some points of the script are so ridiculous that it will make one unironically laugh.
The movie opens by introducing the lead male character, Tomek, and he is instantly unlikeable. Not just because he is arrogant and cocky but because he is straight-up a creep. Following a girl around, trying to hack into a security system to search for her address or kissing her with no consent the moment he meets her are some of the instances which account for textbook harassment, and in no way is it charming. Tomek is not just poorly written, it is poorly executed as well. There was not a single pleasant factor about him.

Besides the faulty main character, the story lacks substance. The occurrences are outlandish and beyond the comprehension of how two people can fall in love without knowing anything about each other in the slightest. The same rom-com script from the early 2000s is recycled without making any considerable changes. Certain sub-plot is forcefully included to add subtext, whereas it adds nothing to the main plot or develops the characters in any way.
However, the only watchable bit about the movie is the second couple. Even though they have very limited screen time, their presence is rather enjoyable than the rest. The pairing is not entirely stereotypical, and the actors add some depth to their characters. Moreover, the second lead has a staggering difference from the main character, which instantly makes him appealing. In short, he is a decent person (the bar is in hell).
Nevertheless, some parts of the movie are entertaining, yet it is not enough to make the audience stay hooked for long. With a repeated plot and poor character development, the movie is easily forgettable. Additionally, some of the plot points are rather dated and highly problematic. Even the added twists and turns fail to make the script intriguing in the slightest.

Final Thoughts
There are innumerable movies and shows with the exact same plot and consequences in the industry. With an unlikeable main character and a typical story, the movie is utterly disappointing. Certain instances are uncomfortable to watch and are highly unrealistic. The creators have misjudged the audience’s intelligence to think and comprehend certain events. And the cherry on top of the disaster is the unfunny jokes and romantic gestures that come off as borderline assault.
