Divorce Attorney Shin (신성한 이혼) is a Korean courtroom drama series, co-directed by Lee Jae-hoon and Lim Jun-hyuk. The screenplay is written by Yoo Young-ah and it has been adapted from the webtoon of the same name by Kang Tae-kyung, which was published from 10 September 2019 to 31 August 2021 by Kakao.
The drama stars Cho Seung-woo, Han Hye-jin, Kim Sung-kyun, and Jung Moon-sung in the lead roles. Along with Kang Mal-geum, Cha Hwa-yeon, Jeon Bae-soo, Noh Susanna, Han Eun-seong and others.

Netflix describes the series as: Divorce Attorney Shin follows a driven by a personal tragedy, pianist-turned-lawyer who navigates the complex world of divorce — fighting for his clients to win by any means necessary. The K-drama follows Shin Sung-han who majored in piano and became a professor at a music university in Germany.
However, something happens and he is urged to come back to South Korea and starts working on becoming a lawyer. And not just any lawyer but especially a divorce lawyer, due to some reasons that are related to his own life. He is also joined by his childhood friends – Jang Hyeong-geun and Jo Jeong-sik who call themselves 40-year-old youths.

In episode 11 Jin Yeong-ju’s past actions are revealed how she used to be friends with Seo Jeong-guk from childhood but her family went bankrupt and she thought of him as her escape. She followed him around everywhere from school, college and even after he got married to Ju-hwa. She purposely had affair with him, so that he could get divorced & even had a hand in legal matters by conspiring with Park Yu-seok, who represented Ju-hwa.
Meanwhile, Sung-han was pretty concerned and contemplating over what he can do to help Gi-yeong or get his custody. So much so that he even decides to give up Geum-hui case against Daenam’s chairman. But on learning that she is doing everything for his niece only, he makes up his mind to put up a good fight for everyone’s sake.

In the preview for the finale episode, we see that Sung-han is looking for ways to find some fault in his sister’s legal proceeding & strategising for what his next move will be. We also see Jeong-sik giving an envelope full of money to Yu-seok but it’s not clear if it’s a part of a plan or if he is acting on his own impulse because of his guilt & to help his friend. While Yeong-ju is ready to go down with everyone involved with her & won’t take the blame for anything. If anything, Sung-han seems confident & determined to win his case.
