Netflix’s latest Kdrama Glitch hit the streaming platform on October 7, 2022, and we are loving this blend of genres that has kept us entertained till the last episode. Directed by Jin Han-sae, the drama stars Jeon Yeo-been, Nana, Lee Dong-hwi, Ryu Kyung-soo, Jeon Bae-soo, and Jung Da-bin alongside other cast members.
With 10 episodes that are around 53 minutes long, the show has brought us the perfect entertainment that has got everything that we need to keep us hooked and bring us to the edge of our seats, making Glitch one of our most looked-forward shows. As the protagonist sets on a mission to search for her ex-boyfriend, she unexpectedly finds more on this journey than she would have thought.
Netflix’s synopsis of the Kdrama reads:
A young woman joins forces with a UFO enthusiast to investigate her boyfriend’s sudden disappearance and stumbles into a wild conspiracy.

Glitch begins with a young Hong Ji-hyo who has come in contact with a bright light hovering on top of her while she lay in a field of reeds. The scene soon shifts to her adulthood where the expressionless woman is hardly excited by anything and just goes along with her days. However, things change when her hallucinations of an alien in a baseball helmet return, creating havoc in her life.
Surrounded by the confusion around her, Ji-hyo’s boyfriend Lee Siguk suggests moving in together and even meets up with her parents. However, she is soon unable to take it and breaks up with him. But this becomes the last time she sees him, and only remembers him when his landlady calls her to find out about him.

Ji-hyo soon realises that an extraterrestrial being is behind Si-guk’s disappearance and heads on to search for him by joining a UFO community. However, this becomes her reunion with an old friend she had separated on bad terms.
The show then takes us through a thrilling yet comic road as the two girls are brought together by these circumstances and left to find out the reason behind these disappearances. Soon finding themselves brought into the midst of a cult that is ready to create havoc, the girls are on an adventure to save the people and themselves.
Glitch has really proven itself to be the perfect entertainer and was the best selection for a binge-watching session. The show brought a beautiful friendship between the two girls that reconciled in a funny yet heart-warming manner. The female-led entertainer goes with a story about friendship and by the end of it, we’re definitely shipping Ji-hyo with Bo-ra and not any of the guys.
The Kdrama really keeps us on the edge when it comes to the existence of aliens in this movie and the twists that it brings with it were really worth it. There is no lying when saying that this show that given me the entertainment that I wanted which was without any bound to a certain genre.

Summing Up: Glitch
The show really carried the glitch till the end and kept us thinking of what is real and what is not. Even the Ji-hyo was unsure of the truth after having gone through the torture that made her unable to know which is the real world. This show has the potential of keeping your attention on it and was really worth the watch for me.
The plot has got some deeper meanings that will soon give rise to theories about certain aspects of the show and that is one thing to look forward to. And if there is a possible Glitch season 2, then maybe we can find a theory that takes us close to what could happen because one thing is for sure, there are more discoveries to come after the aliens.
Altogether, I have enjoyed watching the show and would like to suggest you give it a try too. So don’t forget to stream Glitch on Netflix.

Wooww i just watching 2 eps of it and im like WHHHHUUUUTTTTTHEFFFFF, an naked alien standing there in baseball helmet, I RATHER WATCH MY 80 YEARS OLD GRANDMOTHER SHOWER, so an alien that does nothing, no speaking or touhcing stuff around it, it could been som funny scenes if it did, and the other scenes then it becomes a 30 feet giant nobody hear or feel the stomping around, it was like watching a 1980 old movie, i hope its not gonna be like that the whole show, the ufo club guys are not likeble at all and the girl on scooter is she an alien??? Shes driving of to avoid the new girl in eps 2?!??, so other than bright ligth that appers sometimes and people gets kiddnapped, thats its all so far, the other stuff is just boring, the alien mess with the cellephone and computer was getting old in the 1 episode,
No i hope netflix working more on: all of us are dead and squid games, the big ones and makes them good, AND LORD HAVE MERCY NO WE DONT NEED ANOTHER SESSON OF THIS, put it on hold/pause please, backstories on how they met at school becomes friends and stuff is fine but NOT THAT MUCH, youre just wasting time on whats going on in the present time,

It’s not going to be for everyone, but I loved it too. It’s the most unusual show Netflix has had on in awhile and appreciated they threw out most of the Kdrama tropes and concentrated on the relationship between the two girls. It is a very slow burn, but if you give it to its end, I think you’ll really come to love it.
