Shooting Stars Episode 16 Recap: Starforce Entertainment Signing Off!

Shooting Stars(별똥별) is a 2022 Korean Drama featuring Lee Sung-kyung, Kim Young-dae, Yoon Jong-hoon, Kim Yoon-hye, Park So-jin and Lee Jung-shin. The series is directed by Lee Soo-hyun and runs for 16 episodes. Shooting Stars Episode 16 has a runtime of 59 minutes and is titled All Sorts Of People Who Clear Stars’ Mess.

In Shooting Stars Episode 16, Han-byul stops Tae-sung from coming to the office because his pictures from the office have been leaked and have become top news that Tae-sung visits his agency daily. They haven’t been able to meet other for a while hence Yu Sung brings Han-byul secretly to Tae-sung’s house but they have to leave before they can meet Tae-sung. Jae-hyun and Yu-na have decided to get married and Yu-sung and Han-byul have to be there to make a decision.

While talking with her friends, Han-byul mentions that she has never been to Jeju Island before and Ho-young tips it off to Tae-sung right away. Tae-sung wants to make their relationship public but Han-byul is afraid of getting harassed. Tae-sung believes no one will notice them in Jeju but gets surprised when he reaches Jeju. Da-hye has been shooting for her new drama and recognizes Tae-sung at first glance at the airport. Everywhere they go, there is either a shooting going on or it is crowded because of Jae-hyun and Yu-na who are on Honeymoon.

They haven’t been able to go out without Han-byul fearing getting caught and hence Tae-sung gives a surprise to her. He invites Yu-sung, Ho-young, Soo-hyuk and Ki-ppeum to have dinner together because Han-byul hasn’t had a proper meal since they arrived. Both of them are happy and Tae-sung wishes for a shooting star for the day when he tells the world about Han-byul to come sooner. The happy couple spends a romantic time indoors for the rest of the night.

On the next day, the situation is still the same and there is no safe place for them to go. However, they decide to go with the flow and wander freely. Just when they were about to kiss on the seashore, Han-byul gets a call from a reporter. The reporter asks her if Tae-sung is on a vacation on Jeju island with a non-celebrity. This time, Han-byul isn’t afraid and asks Tae-sung if she should release an article about Gong Tae-sung’s non-celebrity girlfriend Oh Han-byul.

The PR team is again flooded with calls about Gong Tae-sung’s relationship and the team cannot believe that they are talking about their team leader. Ji-hoon has retired and Yu-sung is the new director of Starforce Entertainment. Ho-young is now the Entertainment leader of the company. Kang Si-deok’s drama became a hit and he is a new star now. Da-hye also managed to become a manager of Tae-sung’s fan cafe. Ki-ppeum’s boss is now happy with her.

Shooting Stars Episode 16 Review

Shooting Stars Episode 16 ended on a positive note as all the problems in everyone’s life seemed to go away. The drama ended with a focus on the romance between the couples but during the broadcast, it also pointed finger at ridiculous things that a celebrity has t go through. With entertainment, romance, comedy, and drama, this series was a full package and it is worth giving a watch.
