Claire Danes was brilliant in today’s episode. She’s the one breaking her bonds, pushing people away and breaking things. Seeing her go through so much confusion and anger leaves us wondering what’s going on in her mind. We know for sure that she can’t stop thinking about Will. With only one episode left, the chances are she will return to Essex. But the problems are bigger there.

The Essex Serpent Review: Final Thoughts

Overall, today’s episode had more of an emotional layer to it. Hearts and things were broken, and someone got brutally physically hurt. One cannot easily guess what’s going to happen next. But it’s going to be one hell of a season finale.
