7 Best Queer Shows of 2022 to Not Miss Out

Young Royals

Starting with the best, according to me, Young Royals, is a one of a kind queer show that stole the viewers’ hearts. Who would have wondered we’d get a show showing the gay romance of a young prince and his classmate. Holy Smokes! Young Royals has its separate fanbase because of the insane chemistry, steamy scenes and the plot that gets us on edge, to know what is going to happen at the end. You can enjoy this show on Netflix, and the new season was just released.

Vice Versa

I was in awe while watching this Thai gay series because damn! The entire series was loaded with a fantastic crew. Trust me. The actors were amazing but what captured me more than them is the editing of the show. As the series is about a colorist and an actor who end up in an accident and transfer to a parallel universe, every episode ensures the essence of the media industry. The theme, location, color grading and every tiny details of the show were all precisely done to match the plot of the series. The series is available for free on YouTube.

Conversations with Friends

For the fans of complicated relationships, seek no more. Conversation with Friends is just the right show for you. Our main protagonists Frances and Bobbi are happily in love. However, both of them eventually befriend a straight couple which soon leads the four to explore more. The series is extremely good as it portrays various true life scenarios concerning complicated relationships. You can stream the show on Hulu.

Heartstopper

Heartstopper is literally a heartstopper, no lie. My heart skips a beat every time I think of the first kiss scene, O Blimey! Imagine a human golden retriever falling in love, won’t it be so cute? Truth be told one of the main protagonist looks like a human version of a goldy puppy and his love towards the other protagonist is so earnest and beautiful. Come on, you’ve got to stream it on Netflix and blush.

Smiley

Smiley is a Spanish series, perfect for the Christmas season. The story is about a good looking young man who always gets played and a hard working architect who never gets a long-run relationship. Both the men meet each other via a wrong call and their journey begins. The series is extremely funny and conveys many messages regarding friendships, family and so much more. You can watch the series on Netflix.

Wreck

Everything about the Wreck is a snack for the LGBT+ community. Wreck is a British horror comedy focusing on a young gay man trying to find his sister in a lost ship, accompanied by a lesbian woman who elopes from her home.
