Echo 3 Episode 8: Family Matters
The episode starts with Amber appearing onscreen, the militants hanging her by ropes and shackles in an attempt to torture her. It can be assumed that it is the result of her recent failed plan to escape from the facility. On the other hand, Momo goes back to his brother Tariq after Prince and Bambi let him go. But instead of a happy reunion, the younger brother is infuriated and blames the older for his abduction. He requests Tariq to let the American go since there is no objective behind keeping her captured.
Meanwhile, Prince and Bambi continue their rescue plan to save Amber. They gather 10-15 men willing to join them in the mission in exchange for money. However, their mother, Reese, back in the U.S.A, tries to get hold of Prince’s father and inform him about the events occurring in their sons’ lives. But despite her efforts, the man is not interested in helping them out.

Back in prison, Amber goes through a series of hallucinations about her tragic childhood where her mother’s partner attempts to hurt her and Bambi. Nightmares about her traumas become intense and vivid with every passing second. She also gets hallucinations where Bambi appears and kills Tommy to rescue her. In a flashback sequence, her past life with Prince is also shown.
During the last few minutes of the episode, Bambi and Prince are seen giving a speech to the men who have decided to help them. They explain that the mission is less about money and more about honour, family and doing the right thing. On the other hand, Tariq is partying with his brother and subordinates, and they get into small arguments. Just when he is walking outside for a pause, he is shot by Prince’s men.
Echo 3 Episode 8 Review
The latest episode was slow-paced, yet the story was extremely integral to the main plot. It did not just build anticipation before the next big plan commences, but it also gave us an in-depth look at the characters and helped us understand their present personalities. It also provided an overview of the relationship between the three main characters.
Overall, the episode was interesting, to say the least, and will keep the audience engaged till the end. The cinematography and the background score elevate the storytelling process. The actors also did a phenomenal job, but Jessica Ann Collins outshined everyone.
