Jonathan Majors is not having a good time in his personal and professional life for the last few months. The recent allegations of domestic violence, intimidation, and abuse against him have landed him in legal trouble. As per the latest reports, these allegations go back a decade, including incidents of abuse on film sets and even during his time at Yale. One of the primary allegations was made by his ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari. Jonathan has filed a cross-complaint against Grace, citing physical abuse as well.
So now that you have a gist of what’s going on with Jonathan Majors, it won’t be wrong to assume that his role as MCU’s Kang the Conqueror is at stake. So in this article, we will talk about 4 Actors Who Can Play Kang the Conqueror if he is replaced.
P.S.- I didn’t find Kang menacing enough to be the main villain of MCU Phase 5. However, for some reason, I cannot imagine Kang as a Caucasian anymore. But I’ll incorporate two Caucasian actors who I believe can replace Jonathan Majors as Kang the Conqueror.
4 Actors Who Can Replace Jonathan Majors as Kang the Conqueror
Idris Elba
This guy would certainly have made a better Kang The Conqueror. He is just perfect. Maybe the only reason why he didn’t get the part is that he already played a part in the MCU i.e. Heimdall. His portrayal of Krall in Star Strek Beyond established him as a formidable Strak Trek villain and someone who has the capability to be a strong antagonist. And we must not forget that he voiced Shere Khan in the John-Favreau-directed The Jungle Book. Moreover, his on-screen presence will only add to the gravity that is required of an MCU villain.
Michael Ealy
Yeah, some people might object to this, but if Jonathan Majors can be selected for the part, we can say yes to Michael Ealy as well. And he has blue eyes, just like Kang. And he has a number of unhinged roles to his name, like Damon Cooke in Reasonable Doubt, Beau Willie in For Colored Girls, and Carter Duncan in The Perfect Guy. And since there is an unhinged side to Kang as well, Michael seems seasoned for the role.

Javier Bardem
The first Caucasian in this list, Javier Bardem is a well-known Hollywood baddie. From Anton Chigurh in No Country for Old Men to Armando Salazar in Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales to Raoul Silva in Skyfall, Javier has established himself as an actor who can pull off any villainous role of any form. The way he uses his facial expressions to invoke fear and hatred cannot be overstated ever. So it is only natural for him to fit the role of a being who will take on the Avengers; certainly a worthy replacement for Jonathan Majors.
Charles Dance
I staunchly believe that Charles Dance will fit the role of Kang the Conqueror. And it makes sense since his age would add to the effect that time has had on someone who has spent countless lifetimes travelling through time. On top of this, Charles’ on-screen presence will certainly make for a worthy villain against Earth’s mightiest heroes. If you want examples where he can be scary, you have Tywin Lannister in Game of Thrones, Master Vampire in 2014’s Dracula Untold and Karallen in 2015’s Childhood’s End, and Erik in 1990’s Phantom of the Opera. Satisfied yet?
Honourable Mention- Michael Clarke Duncan
While Michael left us in 2012, there can be no doubt that he would’ve made the perfect Kang. His stature would add to the portrayal of the character’s strength. And he had his voice to stress that. For those of you who do not know, Marvel already used him in a role as a villain. In 2003’s Daredevil, his role as Kingpin was way more effective than Ben Affleck’s Daredevil. Unfortunately, he is no more, but I have no doubt that among all the actors I mentioned above, Michael Clarke Duncan would be the villainous time traveler.
