What do you do when you are sick of life and discover that your world is now surrounded by creatures who hate life even more than you do? Well, that’s where Zom 100 comes in. Zom 100 Bucket List of the Dead Episode 2 is the second episode of a comedy, horror and supernatural anime animated by Studio Bug and is based on a manga series written by Haro Aso and illustrated by Kotaro Takata. This episode is also called Zom 100 Episode 2 and Zom 100 Zombie ni Naru made ni Shitai 100 no Koto Episode 2 in original Japanese.

Within a dirty, debris-ridden apartment, a peculiar sight unfolds before the weary gaze of 24-year-old Akira Tendou. With a haunting emptiness in his eyes, he watches a zombie film consumed by envy and desolation. Having endured three gruelling years in the clutches of a manipulative corporate entity in Japan, his once indomitable spirit has withered into mere fragments. His desires lie dormant, unable to summon the audacity to confess his feelings to the captivating Ootori, his alluring co-worker.

However, an ominous twist of fate awaits him. One fateful morning, he inadvertently stumbles upon a ghastly spectacle within the confines of his abode—a ghastly sight that defies comprehension. Having a delicious lunch, his very landlord feasts upon a fellow tenant! The city teems with ravenous hordes of the undead, engendering an atmosphere of palpable menace. And amidst the unrest, as he flees for his very survival, Akira finds himself experiencing a twisted epiphany. Amidst this chaos, he might have found the one thing that excites him.

The other is where killing zombies is a sport, and it is recommended to kill as many of them as possible. Not for survival, mind you, but because a dead zombie sounds better than an undead zombie. This episode would explore which kind of show Zom 100 wants to be!
