Yashoda Twitter Review: Fans Call Samantha the Lifeline of the Film

Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s new film Yashoda has finally been released on the big screen with a positive response from the fans. The suspense thriller flick, which is filled with some hardcore action sequences, finds the leading actress in an intriguing avatar. Moreover, the story of the movie revolves around a surrogate woman, who unravels the injustice behind a large-scale racquet.

The complete cast of the film includes Unni Mukundan as Dr Gautham, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar as Madhubala, Rao Ramesh, Murali Sharma, Sampath Raj, Rajiv Kumar Aneja as External affairs minister, Shatru, Madhurima, Divya Sripada, Kalpika Ganesh, and Priyanka Sharma. Furthermore, the total runtime of the film is two hours and twelve minutes.

Notably, the film was initially shot as a bilingual feature in both Tamil and Telugu. However, the decision to release it as a dubbed version in Hindi and other languages was taken later on. The flick was made under the banner of Sridevi movies, and the title was announced in December 2021.

If the Mouth of Word is any proof, then the new suspense thriller seems to be getting a good start at the box office. Moreover, Yashoda Review by fans will definitely attract the audience to the theatre, and increment its collection numbers. The biggest opening of Samantha’s career has been the Allu Arjun epic Pushpa The Rise.

Pioneer filmmakers Hari Shankar and Harish Naryan serve as the writer-director of this action thriller. While M Sukumar was involved as the cinematographer for the movie. Also, seasoned Hollywood stuntman Yannick Ben was responsible for training Samantha during the action pieces.

The movie was set to release around the 12th of August, 2022, but got rescheduled due to filming delays. Moreover, Samantha last appeared in the black comedy feature Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal, which was written and directed by Vignesh Shivan. The film also starred alongside Vijay Sethupati and Nayanthara and was a commercial success at the box office.
