What’s Releasing on Disney Plus Hotstar in March 2023: The Mandalorian Season 3, Gulmohar, Chang Can Dunk and More

With some new premieres headed our way, it’s time to dig into all the content that’s releasing on Disney Plus Hotstar in March 2023. It’s especially going to be a great month ahead for the fans of the Star Wars franchise. Additionally, some original Disney movies will be coming out as well, while a few older premieres will continue their run with new episodes, bringing some of these sagas to their close as we await their season finales.

This List is Subject to Change Depending on the Availability of the Content in Various Countries. More Titles May Be Added As and When They’re Announced.

Titles Releasing on Disney Plus Hotstar in March 2023

MARCH 1

The Mandalorian Season 3 (Premiere)

Set after the events of Return of the Jedi (1983), Pedro Pascal takes the lead as the bounty hunter alongside Grogu to redeem his past fallouts. We were treated with the Season 2 final way back in December 2020, which focussed on Din Djarin coming to the rescue of Grogu. However, this was soon followed by Luke Skywalker taking Baby Yoda away. The third instalment is bound to make some reunions happen, as we’re all going back to Mandalore.

Big Bet Season 2 Episode 5

With the first three episodes of Season 2 premiering on February 15, 2023, this series will go on till March 22, 2023, when the show concludes its run with Season 2 Episode 8, aka the series finale. The new season shows direct confrontation between the king of casino in the Philippines, Cha Moo-sik and a Korean desk officer sent to the Philippines to watch over the world of gambling and the crimes being enacted against the Korean community residing there.

Star Wars Bad Batch Season 2 Episode 11

The animated chapter of the Star Wars map centres around a squad of clones who’re grappling with the aftermath of the Clone War and their ever-changing reality.

Gulmohar

Directed by Rahul V. Chittella, Gulmohar is an upcoming Hindi movie on Disney Plus Hotstar starring Manoj Bajpayee, Sharmila Tagore, Simran, Suraj Sharma, Kaveri Seth and others. Change is inevitable, but it gets scary once you have to leave a pre-established reality behind and start anew in a new city.

Gulmohar is all about a family last remaining days of the Batra family at their 31-year-old home before they leave for a new settlement elsewhere, while dealing with their collective fragmented reality.

Chang Can Dunk

Here comes one of the constant favourites themes of all – the rise of the underdog. Chang Can Dunk is an American sports film directed by Jingyi Shao that encompasses a coming-of-age narrative about the titular character who doesn’t excel in any particular field, but eventually takes on basketball training by any means necessary as a mission to prove the people ridiculing him wrong.

Turning the Tables with Robin Roberts Season 2

Well known for her anchoring segments on ABC’s Good Morning Show, Robin Robert is all set to dig deep into the personal narratives and accounts of the leading women of Hollywood. The series of intimate conversations in store for the new season will act as inspirational boosts for us all as Roberts claims the first season to have left us with lessons surrounding “intuition, authenticity, vulnerability and what it means to be a groundbreaker and the struggle that can come with it”.
