Welcome to Chippendales Season 2– is it happening or not? This a question that is bugging all the viewers of Hulu’s latest miniseries and, we can clearly understand why. The ending of the season has left everyone wondering if the makers would give us a more appropriate closure.
Welcome to Chippendales is a miniseries created by Robert Siegel that is inspired by Deadly Dance: The Chippendales Murders by K. Scot Macdonald and Patrick MontesDeOca. The seventh episode is titled ‘Paper Is Paper’ and is written by Jenni Konner. Produced by Johnny Videogames, Limelight, Jenni Konner Productions, Leo Michael Productions and 20th Television, the show stars Kumail Nanjiani as Somen Steve Banerjee, Murray Bartlett as Nick De Noia, Annaleigh Ashford as Irene, Dan Stevens as Paul Snider, Juliette Lewis as Denise, Quentin Plair as Otis, Andrew Rannells, Robin de Jesús as Ray Colon and Spencer Boldman as Lance McCrae. The show consists of a total of eight episodes, each approximately 40-50 minutes long.
When is Welcome to Chippendales Season 2 Releasing?
The way Welcome to Chippendales started it looked like it is going to be one promising ride to be on. However, as the series progressed the hope that there would be more intricacies and seasons just kept building up in the viewers, especially due to the pace of the narrative and how the story was unfolding.
But, somewhere around the sixth episode, it was clear that there is not going to be a Welcome to Chippendales Season 2 and the makers are going to wrap up things as soon as possible. As predicted, the show ended with Somen hanging himself before he could receive his prison sentence. With the protagonist of the show dead, it is highly unlikely that there will be a second season.
However, taking a leap and wild guess, the makers can possibly give us a bonus episode to show how Irene and Somen’s daughter is doing after Somen’s death and what ultimately happens to the Chippendales club. Although a second season does not seem to be happening at all.
