The music video opens with Nine enacting a high school student in a new school. He attempts to become friends with a boy in his class that instantly captures his attention. He quickly became popular among the students and made new friends. But his eyes are still on the boy he met on his first day. As the video progresses, it is shown how the boy is bullied, and the singer attempts to become his knight in shining armour.

Eventually, Nine’s feelings are reciprocated, and both high school students fall in love. The adorable love story is portrayed beautifully throughout the music video. They get into a relationship and share lovely little moments with each other. The heart-fluttering story meets an unfortunate event when the homophobic students get violent with the lead.

The queer representation in the video is commendable, as South Korea is known for displaying extreme homophobia. The K-pop group took the first step in starting a conversation and normalising the inclusion of homosexual relationships in the K-pop industry. OnlyOneOf will also be starring in a gay web series called Bump Up Business.
