Welcome to Chippendales Episode 5: Leeches

Things have not been going well in Welcome to Chippendales as pretty much all the characters seem torn apart. We now know that Nick is very much taking the New York opportunity to expand Chippendales and, it could either be a miracle that mends the bond between him and Soumen or the start of a new age rivalry. As for the one Chippendales we have, Otis’ departure can seem to seriously hamper the club as the angle of racism is involved. And, between Soumen and Irene things aren’t as lovey-dovey as one would expect them to be.

Welcome to Chippendales Episode 5 starts with Somen visiting Chippendales East in New York. He is thrilled, mesmerized and jealous at how the club is thriving, the opening performance and everything he has dreamed of coming true but, at a different place. However, he tries to be friendly with Nick and the two share a segment that started off as a cosy snowball fight to mend the relationship but, ended up being a disaster.

But, the fame of Nick’s Chippendales club does not restrict itself as he is called on television by Phil Donoghue and goes on other platforms where he is being termed as Mr. Chippendales and he doesn’t mind very much. But, in LA, Somen does mind and confronting Nick does not do the job perfectly. So, he takes matters into in own hands with some help and too much flattery from Ray and goes out there to restore his title as the Chippendales founder. The plan is a failure and it only triggers him to do the worst.

Meanwhile, Irene and Somen’s relationship faces strain in Welcome to Chippendales Episode 5. The two did hit it off at the start but, with the passage of time, their relationship seemed to have faced more downs than ups. Now, we have pregnant Irene and Somen being sued for racial discrimination. But, what comes out of this entire scene are some lies that distort Irene and the two’s relationship in general.

Welcome to Chippendales Episode 5: Final Thoughts

Things might not go according to Somen’s plan in Welcome to Chippendales but, they are surely going the way one would expect things to play out when there is a huge ego and power game involved. Lies, betrayal and almost a hint to take the murderous road have been dropped on the audience in the recent episode fo Welcome to Chippendales. With one incredible opening scene filled with music and monologue that is moving, the show is fast-tracking itself with each passing episode and taking us closer to the doom that is to take over all the characters very soon.
