Varalaru Mukkiyam is an upcoming romantic comedy starring Jiiva, about an easygoing lad who finds himself in a series of comical happenstances. The film is directed by Santhosh Rajan and produced by R B Choudary under the banner of Super Good Films. Moreover, the film is also cited as a Shaan Rahman musical.
The complete cast of the film includes seasoned actors like Kashmira Pardeshi, Pragya Nagra, Vtv Ganesh, K.S.Ravikumar, Motta Rajendran, Shara Saranya, and Siddique. Furthermore, the film is edited by Srikanth NB, while Sakthi Saravanan serves as the cinematographer of the flick.

The trailer of the musical comedy starts with a fun-filled protagonist (played by Jiiva), who appears to live his life with zero precautions. Moreover, we are given a hint of his daily routine which involves mostly riding bikes, and having the best of times with his friends.
The tone in the two-minute twenty-five seconds trailer shifts when the protagonist meets his love interest for the first time. And like a usual masala film, there is a compulsory musical number followed by some funny exchange of dialogue. The entire situation turns into a romantic comedy when the plot introduces an equally notorious father figure.
The official clip also finds time for mandatory action sequences, tailored with some mass audience one-liners from Jiiva. All in all, the film looks like an apt commercial experiment, that remains on track with the usual nuances. Notably, the flick is written by Santhosh Rajan, who is also responsible for helming the project.
