After soaring high to newer heights with their collaborative pre-release single Back For More with Anitta, the HYBE Labels boy group’s TXT The Name Chapter FREEFALL concept clips for the “Clarity” album version are here to sweep the floors with finesse. The BigHit Music 5-member Kpop boy group is soon to make a comeback with its 3rd full album, also the sequel to The Name Chapter: Temptation (January 2023), i.e. the band’s 5th mini album.
Soon after their quirky pop-tastic debut in 2019, the TOMORROW X TOGETHER members ventured out to explore their musical identity and stopped at the Rock station of music genres. With every new comeback on the horizon under their name, the quintet has only further seeped into this hard-hitting category of music-making process. And the “Clarity” version concept clip released on HYBE Labels’ YouTube channel on October 3 (KST), has again testified their affiliation with the punk rock genre.
The concept film video’s visuals are directly in line with the concept photos of the same version released earlier on October 1. Sporting the quintessential wardrobe aesthetic of the music genre, all five members – Yeonjun, Soobin, Beomgyu, Taehyun, and HueningKai – are seen wearing classic grunge outfits featuring elements like plaid clothing, baggy shirts and pants, see-through net cardigans and more. The video’s overall vibe is carried through with the ever-blaring electric guitar riff in the background that completes the punk rock style, musically.
There are a total of 4 The Name Chapter FREEFALL versions, namely, “Reality”, “Melancholy”, “Clarity” and “Gravity”. Concept photos for the former two had been released on the group’s social media platforms previously. The album tracklist is yet to be announced. As per the promotion schedule, it will be outed on October 6, 2023, at 12 AM KST. Conversely, the title track’s music video will be released on October 13, i.e. the same date as the album release date. Prior to that, the music video teaser will be dropped on October 12, 2023, at 12 AM KST.
