The trailer shows that Gillian Jacobs and Cory Michael Smith run an emergency rescue committee in 1940s Marseille. They help refugees escape occupied France and with Britain at war, they need more allies who can operate freely and help them in the mission.

Risking their lives to help more than 2000 refugees escape, including many artists on the Nazis’ most-wanted list, an international gang of young superheroes and their famous charges occupy a villa at the edge of the city, where the threat of mortal danger gives way to unexpected collaborations and intense love affairs.

Filmed in English, German, and French language, the series has comedic undertones and focuses on human relationships despite being based on a War period drama. It shows how the number of people involved in the committee were refugees themselves and gathered the courage to help people like them cross borders and reach a safe haven.

It will showcase the stories of ordinary people who in the hour of need, decided to do something extraordinary that impacted nations like France and America. And how the refugees definitely changed the course of art & academia in the country they moved to, along with the relationships they build in the process.
