2021 ended on a high note for actor Tom Holland. His MCU film Spider-Man: No Way Home received rave reviews from fans and critics. The actor was highly praised for his performance and the emotions he showed as Peter Parker. The film brought not only classic Spidey film villains but also other Spideys, Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire. The latest news is that Tom will host the 2022 Oscars ceremony.
For the past 3 years, the award ceremony had no host. But reports suggest that creators are planning to have a host this time. The actor whose name as the potential host is doing rounds in Tom. No one has confirmed anything yet. But Twitter has shared their reaction.
One person wrote, “Tom Holland hosting the Oscars is perfect but y’all ain’t ready for that conversation. He has such an infectious charisma and charm”. Another person tweeted, “If you want people to watch the Oscars, have Tom Holland, Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire co-host together. Cut the musical numbers and and make the speeches like a minute long.”

Recently, Andrew Garfield was asked about the same rumours. The Tick Tick Boom actor told People that Holland would is quite charismatic and would be an incredible Oscars host.
Meanwhile, Tom will be reprising his role as Peter Parker for MCU in the next Spider-Man film too. The news of another Spider-Man film was confirmed by producer Amy Pascal. The actor recently said that his Spidey has now become a Spider-Man from Spiderboy. It is not yet known if Zendaya will be return as MJ or not.
