Fans Want Tom Hardy’s Venom to Fight Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man!

Won’t it be an interesting sight to see Tom Hardy as Venom fight Andrew Garfield as Spider-Man? If you’ve watched Spider-Man: No Way Home, you know why fans want this. If not, proceed at your risk, as the article contains spoilers from Tom Holland’s latest Marvel film.

In Spider-Man: No Way Home, we meet villains from various Spidey universes from the past – Green Goblin, Sandman, Lizard, Electro and Doctor Octopus. The rumours are also true, and Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield also appear as Peter Parker/Spider-Man to help Holland’s Spidey. In the mid-credits scene, we meet Hardy’s Eddie Brock again, aka Venom. This is another Spidey-Venom tease after the end credits scene we saw in Venom: Let There Be Carnage.

Ever since fans have seen No Way Home and the mid-credits scenes, they have been tweeting about the third film for the amazing Andrew Garfield! Garfield is the only actor who didn’t get his third Spidey film. Hence, fans are tweeting that Sony should complete his arc and make a film where Tom and Andrew are against each other.

A fan wrote, “tom hardy’s venom and andrew garfield’s spiderman in the same universe is all I’m asking for”. Another tweeted, “I just think it would be neat to have Tom be the MCU Spider-Man and Andrew be the Sony Spider-Man. Tom goes to Uni and helps his Avenger friends and Garfield fights Hardy’s Venom or something.”

Check out what Andrew Garfield fans have tweeted:

On verra bien…

  2. I still believe that Tom Hardy’s venom should go up against Tom Holland’s Spider-Man. That little piece left behind in No Way Home would be enough for a black suit, but getting Tom Hardy’s Venom to comeback would be a mystery. I feel that if Marvel introduces a variant of Eddie Brock in the MCU or if Sony puts Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man with the Sony Spider-Man Universe project’s, I feel that it would waste potential for Tom Holland’s and Hardy’s characters. Just because Andrew’s Spider-Man had redemption in No Way Home, doesn’t mean that people should get too crazy for a reappearance in a future project. I feel that Sony should focus their projects for Tom Holland’s character otherwise they’ll be repeating their mistakes 8 years ago after Amazing Spider-Man 2.
