The Tokyo Manji Gang is back with a bang, and we are absolutely thrilled to see what happens next. This franchise successfully dropped one of the best series on delinquents and has returned to further the story this year.

Director Hatsumi Kouichi, who also worked in anime like Darling in the FranXX, Deadman Wonderland, Hunter x Hunter, etc, will handle the direction for the series. Studio LIDENFILMS which handled the first season of this anime will be returning for this season. They have worked on Koi to Uso, Yamada-kun and the Seven Witches, Yofukashi no Uta, etc.

Episode 13 of Tokyo Revengers Season 2 can also be called the 13th episode of Tokyo Revengers Season 2 or Tokyo Revengers: Seiya Kessen-hen (東京リベンジャーズ 聖夜決戦編).

The story revolves around Takemichi Hanagaki, who is at the lowest point of his life at the age of 26. He is not permanently employed, nor does he live like a respectable adult. His room is a mess just like his life, and there is no one with whom he is close.

But that was not the case 12 years ago. Back then, Takemichi had his own gang, which he ran with his group of friends, and even had a girlfriend who loved him back. Then things happened, and he turned into the pathetic man he is now, without any hope of a better future.

But one day, he abruptly gets the news that his middle school girlfriend was killed because of the infamous Tokyo Manji Gang. Shortly after, even Takemichi dies and miraculously goes back to the same day, 12 years in the past.

In this timeline, he still has his friends and his girlfriend, whose younger brother, Hinata, turns out to be the key that can make him travel back and forth in time. Now with this power and with the help of Hinata, he decides to save his girlfriend’s life from the hands of the Tokyo Manji Gang.
