Bleach TYBW’s Anime May Be Tite Kubo’s Chance to Fix His Rushed Ending

When the manga ended, concluding the Thousand-Year Blood War arc, many fans were left disappointed. Tite Kubo created a massive storyline with many plot points but never really elaborated on them or gave justice to the characters. This led many fans to think that Bleach lost its touch, and they heavily criticised the storyline. However, Kubo actually gave a proper reason as to why he had to rush the ending in the manga. He posted on Twitter, explaining the situation that he was in.

Through his statements, it can be seen that he really struggled throughout the working process of the last arc. Even in his messages, he stated that he felt like things were left unfinished. However, he also revealed that he was suffering heavily from a physical ailment. He did not get enough sleep, and that affected his work extremely. Thus, when he got the time to actually invest properly in this anime, most likely Kubo wanted to go all out, and he did exactly that.

Orihime’s Biggest Bleach TYBW Power-Up Is Anime-Original

Every fan had this complaint against Orihime’s development as to why her powers were not properly displayed when she was one of the strongest characters in theory. When Aizen captured Orihime, he stated how her abilities essentially trespass in the realms of God. This should make her an otherworldly being, and we never really got to see that in Bleach. In episode 5, Kubo mended that aspect and showcased how much she has grown as a healer by constantly protecting Ichigo and reviving him whenever he was getting killed or exceptionally hurt by Yhwach.

However, Kubo absolutely broke the internet when he showcased Orihime completely rejecting the existence of Yhwach, something that she actually can do according to the lore.

Orihime Never Died in the Bleach Manga

Orihime never got the power buff that she did in the anime, which is why she did not erase her own existence along with Yhwach’s. This was something that was absolutely new and came out of nowhere, surprising fans.

The Anime Gives Ichigo a Vasto Lorde-Inspired Form the Manga Never Showed

The Blood Chain Ichigo form that showcases his half-holification was never depicted in the manga. Here, Kubo takes some aspects from Ichigo’s Vasto Lorde form and gives him the power of it without making him go berserk like before. In this form, Ichigo is exceptionally powerful and has a similar vibe to when he defeated Ulquiorra. However, he is not a mindless monster like he was in the previous form.

Here, we also get to see his face along with the two horns that are very reminiscent of his Vasto Lorde form. Even though this power could not defeat Yhwach, this was an exceptional transformation that showed just how deadly Ichigo can be. In the latest episode, Ichigo finally tries to release his True Bankai which essentially ties back to the source material. Just like in the manga, Yhwach breaks Ichigo’s sword before he could even attack. From here on, we might or might not follow the manga.

Yhwach’s Attack on Renji and Rukia Is Far More Brutal in the Anime

Renji and Rukia do go to the place when Yhwach was defeating Ichigo. However, Renji was not ripped to shreds like he was in the previous episode. Not only that, but Rukia was also not killed along with Chad and Ganju. In the anime, when Renji tried to unleash his Bankai, he was completely decimated by Yhwach, and then the Quincy king started to attack Ichigo’s other friends one by one. The way things went in this episode was very brutal, and in the manga it was a lot more toned down. Ichigo’s despair was also far more prominent in this one.
