The Witcher Season 3 Volume 2 Reactions: Fans Bid Henry Cavill an Emotional Farewell

From The Witcher Season 3 Volume 2 Reactions on Twitter, it is clear that fans aren’t happy with the Season coming to an end. Why? Well, if you do not know, you are living under a rock and if you really are then read on. Based on the popular novel series of the same name by Andrzej Sapkowski, the show has become a must-see for anyone who loves fantasy dramas. But more than the story, it is the lead character that made its way into people’s hearts, all thanks to the Man of Steel himself.

The Witcher Season 3 Volume 2 will be Henry Cavill’s last outing as Geralt, the white-haired monster hunter from Rivia. Henry’s portrayal of the character can in no way be surpassed by any other actor. And the fact that he has forever claimed the throne of the Witcher means that without him, we may as well say that the show is coming to an end although it will continue. It’s just that someone else will become the hunter.

The Witcher Season 3 Volume 2 Reactions

Of course, there are people who are just excited about the new episodes but we cannot negate the possibility that they are just trying to hide the pain of Henry’s farewell using the excitement. This is me being dramatic because the situation calls for it. After all, we will miss him.  Some are bathing in the charm of Geralt’s charisma that he pulls off without saying a single word while others are relishing his relationship with Yennefer (Anya Chalotra). The two along with Ciri (Freya Allan) have come a long way and to see them become a family is truly emotional.

Mixed emotions. This is also how many are expressing themselves with regards to the show’s Season 3. We will never see Henry Cavill as the Witcher again. Or maybe Netflix will hear our cries and bring him back in a cameo. While we wish Liam Hemsworth all the best for Season 4, we cannot thank The Man from U.N.C.L.E enough for his contribution to the fantasy genre. Be it the emotions or the action, he immortalized the character of Geralt of Rivia and whoever plays the part again will be standing on his shoulders.
