Planning to Watch The Veil? Here’s All You Need to Know About the Elisabeth Moss Starrer!

Are you a James Bond or Reacher girlie? Because you are in for a treat with the release of the latest limited series called The Veil. From MI6 to a heroine that only made Atwood’s Handmaid’s Tale better in this era, this upcoming show could be everything you have been hoping to binge-watch all summer long.

The upcoming thriller is by Steven Knight, who we know so well due to his work in Peaky Blinders and Tom Hardy’s Taboo. It is produced by Love & Squalor Pictures, PatMa Productions, Di Novi Pictures and FX Productions. Ahead of the release of the series, let us quickly grab some important facts surrounding it.

The Veil Cast

The series is being headlined by Elisabeth Moss as Imogen Salter, who is going to play the role of a veteran MI6 agent with a speciality in undercover work alongside Josh Charles as Max, who is set to be the ruthless CIA officer assigned to work as Salter’s American liaison in the show.

The case also features Dali Benssalah as Malik along with Yumna Marwan as Adilah, Haluk Bilginer, Alec Secareanu, Thibault de Montalembert, Kobna, Holdbrook-Smith, James Purefoy, Joana Ribeiro, Phill Langhorne, Dan Wyllie and Aron von Andrian.

The Veil Plot/Synopsis

Following the official trailer, the plot is summarized as: “FX’s The Veil is a spy thriller that explores the surprising and fraught relationship between two women who play a deadly game of truth and lie on the road from Istanbul to Paris and London. One woman has a secret, the other has a mission to reveal it before thousands of lives are lost. In the shadows, the CIA and French DGSE must work together to avert potential disaster.”

The Veil Release Date and More

The series is set to release on Hulu as well as Disney+ Hotstar. Being from the house of FX, the series will premiere with the first two episodes on April 30, 2024. There are two other episodes marked up in the series with the third one releasing on May 7, 2024, and the fourth one releasing on May 14, 2024.

As this is a limited series, we can trust the entire plotline to wrap up as quickly as possible. However, it is reported that the series will have six episodes in total. Thus, we can expect the next set of episodes to get a weekly release, every Tuesday.
