Mystery thrillers are that one genre that keeps the viewers on their toes and guessing what’s about to unfold. Similarly, Netflix is bringing The Tailor (Terzi) to its platform, which is an upcoming Turkish drama filled with various twists and turns that will change the fate of the leading characters.
The series is said to be inspired by a real-life story & is directed by Cem Karci and written by Rana Mamatlioglu and Bekir Baran Sitki. Produced by Onur Guvenatam under the banner of OGM Pictures, and the music is given by Firat Yükselir. There are reported to be seven episodes in total with a runtime of about 40-50 minutes.
The Tailor Cast
The ensemble cast of the series includes Çağatay Ulusoy as Peyami, Salih Bademci as Dimitri, Şifanur Gül as Esvet, Olgun Şimşek as Mustafa, Ece Sükan, Lila Gürmen, Vedat Erincin, Celile Toyon, Engin Şenkan and Evrim Alasya.

The Tailor Plot/Synopsis
Netflix’s description of the series reads, “A famous tailor begins to sew a wedding dress for his best friend’s fiancée – but all three have dark secrets that will soon upend their lives.” The show will tell the story of Peyami, a young and talented tailor, who is forced to take on the responsibility of his father, suffering from a mental illness. Peyami is formed to hide it from everyone after his grandfather’s death.
While the veils of secrets of the past are opened with his father’s arrival and Peyami has to face everything he has been keeping away from and what he has hidden from everyone around him. In the released trailer, we see that Peyami is busy putting out his best work for a fashion show but soon after, he is called to take his father, who has a strange attachment to a scarecrow.
On the other hand, he is tasked with making the wedding outfits for his friend’s wedding. But his friend Dimitri is rather thinking about the girl named Esvet and wants to find her, while there could be some connection between her & Peyami the tailor, which he is not revealing. There’s a mysteriousness in the air and it’s certain that every character is holding on to a secret that will change everything around them if revealed.
