With the series finale coming closer than ever, fans were shocked at how little the episode progressed. With Belly in Paris and Jeremiah, Conrad and the others left to pick up the pieces, viewers were disappointed with the lack of information or interesting points, with one user writing, “today’s episode could’ve been an email unfortunately #TheSummerITurnedPretty.”

A lot of viewers were also disappointed about the episode not focusing on Belly’s adventures in Paris and, rather, focusing on Jeremiah moping around. User @hawonlea wrote, “this was supposed to be belly in paris episode and all we got was jeremiah being drunk (as usual) and being a loser with a inferiority complex.” However, most were positive towards Conrad and wanted the story to progress so that he got the ending that he deserved.
Fans are divided about whether or not Belly deserves to have a soul-searching trip to Paris as his friends and family recover from the fallout of her relationship’s implosion. While most fans think that Jeremiah should be supportive of Belly finding herself in Paris, others want accountability on Belly’s part in this mess.
In the end, though, fans were left rooting for what’s coming next, as the biggest plot progressions and twists were left for episode 10.
