The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 2 Episode 5 Ending Explained: The latest episode of the series left us broken like no other. Starting from Aunt Julia wreaking havoc on the children through her house decisions to the constantly mixed chemistry between Jeremiah and Belly, everything was one long, teary-eyed Taylor Swift song.

The series is created by author Jenny Han, whose novel series the show is based on. It has music by Zachary Dawes and cinematography by J.B. Smith. The production companies involved in the making of the show include Sunswept Entertainment, Jenny Kissed Me, Big Red Bus, wiip and Amazon Studios. 

The main cast for the series features Lola Tung as Isabel Conklin aka Belly alongside Jackie Chung as Laurel Park, Rachel Blanchard as Susannah Fisher, Christopher Briney as Conrad Fisher, Gavin Casalegno as Jeremiah Fisher, Sean Kaufman as Steven Conklin, Alfredo, Narciso as Cleveland Castillo, Colin Ferguson as John Conklin and Tom Everett Scott as Adam Fisher. We also have David Iacono as Cam, Summer Madison as Nicole, Rain Spencer as Taylor, Lilah Pate as Gigi, Kelsey Rose Healey as Dara and Jocelyn Shelfo as Marisa.

For The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 2, we have two new faces joining the cast. Actors Kyra Sedgwick as Julia and Elsie Fisher as Skye are going to be a part of the recurring cast in the upcoming season. The latest episode is titled ‘Love Fool’ and is written by Sabrina Sherif.

The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 2 Episode 5 Ending Explained

At the end of the night in the clubhouse, all the teens decide to sleep, picking their partners. The night was heavy with lots of disclosures which included the death of Cam’s sister as well as us realizing how much Jeremiah felt and still feels for Belly. We also had enough Taylor-Steven moments to say that there is some spark here worth investigating.

The group wakes up in the morning when Cameron’s mother comes in for cleaning and, everyone disperses. After learning about the way how one can access their own trust funds, Conrad is now determined to take care of the situation. Jeremiah remembers his mother’s words and is there to support his brother.

However, when the group arrives at the beach house, it is already sold. Jeremiah and Conrad are shattered by the news that Aunt Julia sold off the house to the first interested customer, leaving him with no chance to fight back.
