The plot follows the youngest princess of the royal family in the fictional country of Dongbangguk- Princess Hwa Ri. She is not just the youngest princess but has grown up with an independent mindset. This is why, when she reaches the age to be married, she decides to find the perfect husband for herself by leaving the palace and meeting the suitors arranged for her. While on the quest to find herself a husband, she also looks for the person who has painted her face as the main character in a series of erotic chun hwa paintings which has caused a series of problems for herself.
While looking into the men selected as potential suitors for her, she meets the first on the list, the wealthiest merchant with a handsome face- Choi Hwan. Holding a reputation of a man who enjoys women and money without any concern, but hiding behind this is a secret that can change everything. What will be the result of the two meetings and the curious princess who doesn’t let go of secrets that pique her interest? Is Choi Hwan really a playboy or is there something more about his identity?

The Scandal of Chun Hwa is set to release on February 6, 2025, Thursday at 8:30 AM IST. The show consists of 10 episodes and will release two episodes each week on TVING, where it is set to broadcast.
