Dr Stone Season 4 Episode 3 Recap

Senku and his crew have finally arrived in America, but their initial reaction is amusing. Instead of awe, they find themselves underwhelmed with centuries of overgrowth that have erased the iconic landmarks, making the landscape. However, reality quickly sets in when they come across countless petrified people scattered throughout the land. It’s a stark reminder of how long humanity has been frozen in time, reinforcing Senku’s resolve to revive every last person without exception.

As they make their way down the Sacramento River, they anticipate spotting cornfields along the route. However, before they even get the chance, they find themselves facing an immediate challenge: huge crocodiles. Fortunately, Senku has some of the most skilled fighters by his side, making wild animals a manageable obstacle. But the real danger in this world isn’t nature; it’s other humans, especially intelligent ones.

This becomes painfully clear when a new adversary emerges, a figure whose actions suggest he possesses near-superhuman abilities, capable of taking down a pack of wolves with ease. But things take an even darker turn when this mysterious individual introduces the most powerful weapon humanity has ever wielded which is a machine gun.

Today’s episode was absolutely insane as we finally get a taste of how deep in problem Senku is going to be. First of all, after running away from the gun-wielding man, the people of the Kingdom of Science thought that there could not be anything worse than a machine gun. Sadly, there was. We see the enemy from before, coming towards Senku’s boat on a freaking plane! And he does not stop there, as he starts to shoot relentlessly with the intention to kill.

This is definitely something that Senku did not think of. He was prepared for intelligent people creating the revival fluid to escape petrification, but what caught him off guard was someone significantly more scientifically advanced waiting for him. But, the excitement only inspires Senku, and in that very moment, he manages to whip up acetylene gas to stop the enemy’s plane.

This was a bold move, as now the antagonists know that there is a very talented scientist out there who can retaliate against their machines. Not only that, Senku takes an even bolder approach and decides to track down the enemy ship and then their base. The plan is simple, a special group consisting of some very special people will go to track down the enemy headquarters. And the special party happens to have Chrome, Kohaku, and the best mentalist, Gen.

Today’s episode was a wake-up call for the Kingdom of Science and us. This time, the enemies are significantly more powerful in a field where no one managed to outwit Senku previously. Our hero always won every battle with his scientific innovations and wit. But what happens when there is someone who is as smart or maybe even smarter than him with better resources out there?
