The Patient Episode 4 is keeping everyone on their toes, especially after the cliffhanger ending that seems to be a norm now for this limited series. The Patient features Steve Carell as Alan Strauss, a therapist and Domhnall Gleeson as Sam Fortner, a serial killer and the new patient of our therapist in question. Actors Linda Emond plays Candace Fortner along with Laura Niemi as Beth Strauss, Andrew Leeds as Ezra Strauss and David Alan Grier as Charlie Addison.
What to Expect from The Patient Episode 4?
In The Patient Episode 3, we saw Sam drag in a new victim in his basement pit where he keeps Alan. The situation did horrify Alan and, we are all assuming the man he has taken prisoner next is the man from the restaurant with whom he has been angry for a while. It could very well be possible that in the upcoming episode, we see Sam kill the man even, given his impulses.
But, on the threshold of crisis, we are going to witness how Sam will honour the promise he made to Alan. Will this be the same as protecting Candace or a new variable or condition in the scene for Alan to continue being Sam’s therapist? We will discover that in the next episode. The trust built between the patient and the doctor will surely be tested, now that you have a life to be protected or destroyed in the picture.

The Patient Episode 4 is titled ‘Company’ and is directed by Kevin Bray, who has also directed the third episode in the series. It will air on Hulu on Tuesday, September 13, 2022.
