The Mandalorian: Will We Get a Fourth Season For this Star Wars Series?

The Mandalorian Season 4 would be a bold choice don’t you think? Given where the third season has ended, we are not very sold on the dilemma if this series needs another season or not. The finale of the season has just dropped and it is directed by Rick Famuyiwa and written by Jon Favreau. It is titled The Return and the runtime is 30-40 minutes.

Created by Jon Favreau, the show is a part of the famous Star Wars franchise and takes place five years after the events of the 1983 film Return of the Jedi. It stars Pedro Pascal as the title character aka Din Djarin along with Carl Weathers as Greef Karga, Werner Herzog as the Client, Omid Abtahi as Dr. Pershing, Nick Nolte as Kuiil, Gina Carano as Cara Dune, Giancarlo Esposito as Moff Gideon, Emily Swallow as the Armorer, Esposito, Timothy Olyphant as Cobb Vanth, Temuera Morrison as Boba Fett, Katee Sackhoff as Bo-Katan Kryze.

We also have Rosario Dawson as Ahsoka Tano, Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker, Amy Sedaris as Peli Motto, Mercedes Varnado as Koska Reeves, Ming-Na Wen as Fennec Shand and several others. The third season will see the return of Esposito, Weathers, Sackhoff, Swallow, and Abtahi.

The Mandalorian Season 4: Has the Show Been Renewed Yet?

Well, we can positively say that The Mandalorian Season 4 is going to happen! Although Lucasfilm has not released a word about it given how the finale has just dropped, we can say it is too early to receive an official word from the production house. However, Jon Favreau did not hold back in his various interviews about the future of the show.

The creator has actively gone on to say that the scripts for the fourth season of the show were completed even before the release of the third season, early on in 2023. And, with Dave Filoni’s Ahsoka coming out soon, one can say that the timeline in which the upcoming season will be placed will make a significant effect on the show and the franchise, in general.
