The Mandalorian Season 3 Episode 7 is out now. Created by Jon Favreau, the show is a part of the famous Star Wars franchise and takes place five years after the events of the 1983 film Return of the Jedi.
The Mandalorian stars Pedro Pascal as the title character aka Din Djarin along with Carl Weathers as Greef Karga, Werner Herzog as the Client, Omid Abtahi as Dr. Pershing, Nick Nolte as Kuiil, Gina Carano as Cara Dune, Giancarlo Esposito as Moff Gideon, Emily Swallow as the Armorer, Esposito, Timothy Olyphant as Cobb Vanth, Temuera Morrison as Boba Fett, Katee Sackhoff as Bo-Katan Kryze.
We also have Rosario Dawson as Ahsoka Tano, Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker, Amy Sedaris as Peli Motto, Mercedes Varnado as Koska Reeves, Ming-Na Wen as Fennec Shand and several others. The third season will see the return of Esposito, Weathers, Sackhoff, Swallow, and Abtahi.
The seventh episode of season three is directed by Rick Famuyiwa and written by Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni. The episode is titled The Spies and the runtime is 30-40 minutes.

The Mandalorian Season 3 Episode 7: The Spies
We are here! It is The Mandalorian Season 3 Episode 7 and it is the second last episode of the season. The good thing is it feels like that given the drastic improvement the show has shown from the previous episode which had more to do with celebrity cameos than proceeding with some real, concrete storyline.
As Long Live the Empire chants on our screens, we finally see the emergence of a real threat, a real adversary that is here to turn the story either for good or bad. The Mandalorian Season 3 Episode 7 opens with the shot of Elia Kane, the former Imperial officer responsible for the tragedy that Dr. Pershing faced with a holographic image of the deadly Moff Gideon. The meeting between the galaxy’s evilest figures goes exactly as one would expect- something like from the old Star Wars franchise.
In the little screen time, Gideon expresses how upset he is over Kane’s letting go of Nevarro. He, thereafter, seeks help, not in the needy fashion of course but, in the demanding way he does with Admiral Pellaeon and Commandant Hux as eager as ever to take down the Mandalorians and Mandalore, in all.

As this sinister plan brews in one corner of the galaxy, we see the innocent people of Nevarro trying to reunite. Yes, there is immense friction in regard to how the Children of the Watch and the Night-Owls can coexist. But, with Bo-Katan taking the lead, things seemingly look feasible. They decide to retake the Great Forge and make Mandalore their forever home.
Both sides embark on their separate journeys only to find themselves colliding in the middle. In a way, the leaves us wanting for more because the makers truly leave us desperate by ending the episode like, a sentence without a full stop in this one.
The Mandalorian Season 3 Episode 7: Final Thoughts
By far, The Mandalorian Season 3 Episode 7 has to be the one closest to proving why this Star Wars series has always been a hit amongst fans. Their darkness and the struggle for light with the themes of power and pressure play on the lines of the determined hearts of the righteous warriors of the Force.
There is a lot of unpack in this episode and it happens quickly enough for you to want to rewatch it the moment it ends to pick up on things you might have ended up missing in the first round. The ending is a nasty one with so much expectation being delivered with a black screen as we wait to figure out what is next- an impending doom or the rise of another Skywalker but, this time with order and armour?
