The Mandalorian Season 3 Episode 1 Ending Explained

The Mandalorian Season 3 Episode 1 saw the return of some important old characters starting from Mando and Grogu to the Armourer and Greef Karga. In fact, towards the end of the episode, we see Mando determined to revive CG-11 even and take on travelling the galaxy.

In this expedition, he teaches Grogu the ways of the ship when he is attacked by Vane and other pirates, who he had earlier attacked to protect Greef Karga. Din Djarin fights off the pirates in space and we also see Gorian Shard, the captain on board leading the pirates against our titular characters. However, Mando and Grogu escape the entire ordeal by disappearing due to light speed before they can be harmed.

Mando and Grogu reach Kalevala which is a planet in the Mandalorian system and pay a visit to Bo-Katan to join her force. But on making the offer, she reveals that she has no forces as she was unable to get the Darksaber. She also informs him that there is nothing left on Mandalore for him to procure. Although the news is grim and Bo-Katan says that Din Djarin shouldn’t make the journey, our titular character is determined to.

Bo-Katan offers to help him but, he refuses. Irrespective, she gives him the coordinates he has been looking for and he leaves with Grogu for his redemption mission.
