When is The Lord of the Rings The Rings of Power Episode 3 Releasing? What Happens Next?

The Lord of the Rings The Rings of Power Episode 3 is next in line to be released and we are all pumped to see what happens in the second age of Middle Earth. Based on The Lord of the Rings and its appendices by J. R. R. Tolkien and developed by showrunners J. D. Payne and Patrick McKay, the show is produced by Amazon Studios along with the Tolkien Estate, the Tolkien Trust, HarperCollins and New Line Cinema.

The show has an ensemble featuring Morfydd Clark as Galadriel, Cynthia Addai-Robinson as Míriel, Robert Aramayo as Elrond, Owain Arthur as Durin IV, Maxim Baldry as Isildur, Nazanin Boniadi as Bronwyn, Ismael Cruz Córdova as Arondir, Charles Edwards as Celebrimbor, Trystan Gravelle as Pharazôn, Lenny Henry as Sadoc Burrows, Ema Horvath as Eärien, Markella Kavenagh as Elanor Brandyfoot, Tyroe Muhafidin as Theo, Peter Mullan as Durin III, Sophia Nomvete as Disa, Lloyd Owen as Elendil, Megan Richards as Poppy Proudfellow, Charlie Vickers as Halbrand, Leon Wadham as Kemen and Benjamin Walker as Gil-galad.

The first two episodes of The Lord of the Rings The Rings of Power were over an hour long and, although, people did appreciate the first episode, it was somewhere around the second one that the show seemed to lack its edge. Nonetheless, the hopes for the third episode still remain high.

The Lord of the Rings The Rings of Power Episode 3 Plot

Amazon Prime Video released the preview for the third episode on the platform with the release of the first two pilot episodes. The 30-second long preview features Galadriel in the cabin of a ship. We see Halbrand ask what place are they at and, in reply we hear Galadriel saying, “There’s only one place it can be” as a sail with sun-like symbol sails.

Meanwhile, in the promo, we also witness that Nori’s tribe is planning to relocate and it is going to be an issue for her father with the mishap that has injured his leg. Arondir is seen attacked by the Orcs. You can watch the promo, here.

The Lord of the Rings The Rings of Power Episode 3 Release Date

The title for the third episode of The Lord of the Rings The Rings of Power has not been revealed yet but it is going to be directed by Wayne Che Yip. It is scheduled to arrive on Amazon Prime Video on Friday, September 9, 2022.
