The Kidnapping Day Overview
The Kidnapping Day (유괴의 날) is a comedy thriller Kdrama directed by Park Yoo-young and based on the novel of the same Korean name “Yugwaei Nal” by writer Jung Hae-yeon. The drama stars Yoon Kye-sang, Park Sung-hoon, Yu Na, Kim Shin-rok, Kim Sang-ho, and Seo Je-hee alongside other cast members.
The drama tells the story of a helpless father who accepts the idea of kidnapping a rich kid goes wrong when he finds out that the little one’s parents are dead. The little girl has already lost her memory due to an accident prior to her kidnapping and the man claims to be her father. However, the little girl soon uncovers his web of lies while he tries to investigate what really happened.

The Kidnapping Day Episode 9 Prediction
Suspicion lurks around Myung-joon as he was once part of the experiment conducted by Choi Dong-euk. Meanwhile, Hye-eun realises that Myung-joon found the footage and asks him to turn himself in and let the cops find Ro-hee. With nowhere to go, he ends up at Eun-sun’s house where they plan to find Ro-hee together.
While Sang-yoon realises what is happening to Ro-hee and the danger she is in, Ro-hee is asked to go along with what is told to her. As she waits for Myung-joon to find her, Myung-joon is ready to give his all to find the little girl whom he promised to keep safe. Will the two be able to save Ro-hee from these twisted adults?
The Kidnapping Day Episode 8 Recap
Episode 8 has Sang-yoon arresting Ha-young while Myung-joon and the others tie up Jayden in preparation to turn themselves in and reveal Ro-hee’s case to the world the next day after Hee-ae’s surgery. The next day, Myung-joon informs Hye-eun about the same and reminds her to meet him at the hospital after which they take a detour for some dressing up and lunch before making their way to the hospital.
Meanwhile, Sang-yoon finds out that Ha-young’s warrant has been cancelled and he is set free while he needs to hand over the kidnapping case to another team. He informs his senior that Myung-joon is turning himself in with Ro-hee and gets some time to prove himself. However, Ha-young threatens Eun-sun and gets Myung-joon’s location following which he frees Jayden and waits for the others.
Elsewhere, Taek-kyun finds some suspicious transactions made from Ro-hee’s mother’s account while Ro-hee finds out that she is unable to remember anything from the day before her kidnapping. Myung-joon then tells them that he will meet them in front of the restaurant while Ro-hee and Taek-kyun make their way to the basement only to be attacked by Ha-young.
He kidnaps Ro-hee while Myung-joon arrives to see a wounded Taek-kyun and calls for an ambulance. He is then ambushed by Jayden and the two end up in a brawl when Ha-young intercepts and takes Jayden away. Meanwhile, Sang-yoon feels something is wrong and is proved right when he sees a wounded Taek-kyun and finds Ha-young to be behind all this.
He then makes his way to find a way to save his job by arriving at the Choi house where he sees a secret room with documents that have Ro-hee’s name on them. He takes them for inspection and finds out that these are documents about the experiment conducted on Hye-eun, but what’s shocking is that Myung-joon was the first child to be part of this experiment.
Meanwhile, Myung-joon arrives at Hye-eun place with a wound and tells her about what happened. She tells him that things will be alright and that he needs to meet Hee-ae first. The next day, he finds her note and tries to handle his wound first when he finds the CCTV footage from Ro-hee’s house.
