The Kardashians Season 2 Episode 5 Review

With a disclaimer of graphic images surrounding Kris Jenner’s hip surgery The Kardashians Season 2 Episode 5 kicks off. We see Kris getting her surgery done and the episode further goes on the cover the time she spends after the surgery and her recovery.

As for Kim and Kendall, episode 5 is all about business. We have Kim launching SKIMS SWIM, which allows her to travel to Miami. She invites Khloe over as she has been out much since the Tristan scandal and it is one helluva fun ride. We watch the duo fine dine, work and get drunk. The last one, of course, is mostly Khloe.

Kendall, on the other hand, has her 818 promotion at the opening of TAO in Vegas. She offers for Kylie to join her, who initially accepts but, backs out at the last moment. However, we follow Kendall on her journey through the streets of Vegas.

The Kardashians Season 2 Episode 5 Ending Explained

The Kardashians Season 2 Episode 5 ends with a bang! We have Kendall enjoying her dinner with friends in Vegas and Kim and Khloe partying in Miami. Meanwhile, it is Kourtney who drops a shocker. We don’t see Kourt much throughout this episode and we soon realize why. Flashings of breaking news grab our screens as the media breakout about Kourtney and Travis’ secret marriage in Vegas rages on.

We see news channels covering the news and even contemplating the reality of things. Before the credits roll out, the producer asks Kourtney if she is really married or not. To which she offers a tricky and not concrete reply. Although we know the reality of things now, it would be fun to watch what actually happened that night in Vegas in the upcoming episodes

The Kardashians Season 2 Episode 5: Final Thoughts

Overall, The Kardashians Season 2 Episode 5 dealt with a lot of emotional grounds present in the family. We not only saw Khloe’s perspective and update on mental health in this episode but, also Kylie and Kendall’s. Watching Kylie once in a while like a guest on her family show is really funny. However, her segment in this particular episode did make us understand her better. As for Kendall, it is nice to see more of her this season and her really opening up, unlike what happened last season.

Although there was no drama involved in this episode, it was a fun one to watch some of the Kardashians have some quality time with their friends. The paparazzi fear is real and it just goes on to be a thing in this episode but, moreover, it seemed like a business promotion/brand introduction thing. But then, by the end of the day, this show is a viable business for the family and all the brand show-off is going to happen either way.
