Andor Episode 7: Annoucement
Cassian was smart enough to ditch the rebels in the last episode but, his return to his hometown, Ferrix in Andor Episode 7 might not say so. His stepmother, Maarva and his tragic friend, Bix are both pretty upset about his association with the rebellion. To add fuel to the matter, the entire town seems to know more about Cassian than ever which puts our titular character in a spot where dilemma eats him up.
Meanwhile, on Coruscant ethically dilemmas arise between fan favourite Mon Mothma and our old revolutionary, Luthen. Was the episode at Aldhani too far-fetched? Or was it enough? Well, looks like our two leads stand on different endpoints. Even while considering the logistics and money at goes behind funding the Rebel Alliance has them at two separate ends and it is hard to find a black-and-white ground between these characters because the war is enraging in Andor is all about the grey undertones of ethics, money and power.
However, the standpoint in the episode is the target behind Cassian’s head put by Kleya during her conversation with Vel. Being Luthen’s assistant, her words are both similar to that of the old man and yet her heart might just be in a different place than Luthen’s. The episode also moves forward to explore the highs and greys in Deedra which can possibly hint towards her involvement with the Rebels. Or is it just us being too convinced of the duplicity that runs within the high grounds and the inner workings of the Empire?

Andor Episode 7 Ending
Andor Episode 7 does not end on a victorious note for Cassian as it did in the last one. We see our protagonist relocate to Niamos where he lives under the alias of Keef Girgo. But, his low-key life is short-lived when a Shoretrooper questions him and finds out that he is the thief that the Empire has been looking for quite some time.
As Cassian is kept under the eye of the KX droid, who is a nostalgic reminder of K-2SO from Rouge One, he is soon falsely accused and sentenced to six years in prison for things he did not even do. At the end of the episode, we see Syril Karn get a job at the Bureau of Standards, refurbishing his revenge plan on Andor.
