The two-minute trailer gives us an overview of what the show will be about. The clip shows two employees, Craig and Elaine, working for the most successful mobile game studio in Las Angeles. However, things change after the CEO took his own life in his office for reasons unknown. A consultant named Regus Patoff arrives at the office to manage the company.

Mr Patoff is responsible for observing and improving the business, so he does in his absurd methods. Right off the bat, he puts an injunction on the remote employees to show up at the office the next day, or they will be terminated. Meanwhile, he fires another employee because of his body odour.

Confused and frustrated, Craig and Elaine chose not to live in fear anymore. They start investigating their new boss, but every effort goes in vain as they cannot fetch any valid information. The consultant still manages to create havoc in their lives more uniquely, and situations start to become dangerous.

As time goes by, the instances become vicious as the boss makes the workers go through rigorous threatening circumstances. The workplace environment becomes toxic as everyone is afraid of what is coming next. The various situations lead to a whirlpool of alarming events which will make it impossible for anyone to escape from.

Waltz often takes up roles of characters that manage to send a chill down the audience’s spine, and it is expected that he will yet again deliver. Along with horror, the show also consists of elements of dark comedy, which has created excitement among the viewers.
