The Consultant Cast

Assuming the titular intimidating role, Academy Award winning-actor Christoph Waltz takes the lead, while Brittany O’Grady as Elaine, Nat Wolff as Craig and Aimee Carrero as Patti work alongside him.

The Consultant Plot/ Storyline

Following a workplace scenario, the show will build up on the dynamics between a supposed boss and his employees from a haunting perspective. When a tragedy strikes the leading game studio in L.A., which ends with their CEO meeting a bloody end, The Consultant, Regus Payoff takes over. He introduces his goals in the company, i.e. to observe, streamline and improve, first hand. He’s a complete ghost story, with nothing surfacing on the internet about him.

As soon as he joins the gaming race, he starts laying off some employees due to absurd reasons. His behaviour makes the employees’ hair rise at the back of their head once his old history takes centre stage, making them wonder if he’s more than his job profile as a consultant. The tension that he’s building at the office will either push the people to excel at their job or break to the extent that leaves them with no hope of returning back. Is he truly who he claims to be, or more than what meets the eye?

Prime Video’s official log-line for the series reads, “After an unspeakable tragedy at CompWare, a games studio based in downtown Los Angeles, a mysterious consultant, Regus Patoff, blows into town and takes charge.”
