The episode kicks off with Arthur accompanying his family to a luxurious auction house, where he is taken aback by the sheer extravagance of the venue. This auction is a prestigious gathering spot for nobles and seasoned adventurers, offering a rare chance to acquire high-value items like beast cores.

Such is the significance of the event that even the royal family, including the king, queen, and their children, make an appearance. The atmosphere takes a tense turn when a royal conjurer sets his sights on Sylvie, expressing a strong desire to claim her for himself. Despite Arthur’s refusal, the conjurer escalates matters by using magic to intimidate him.

When threats are made against Arthur’s parents, his calm demeanour breaks, and he unleashes a chilling killing intent that even stuns the king. Word of the disturbance quickly spreads, prompting the king to intervene. He demands that Arthur hand over Sylvie and even offers his own newly purchased mana beast in exchange. Arthur, however, challenges the king’s morality by questioning if he would so easily trade his own children.

His defiance leads to further aggression from the conjurer and royal guards, but before things spiral out of control, Arthur’s latent power surges. At that moment, Sylvia manifests and asserts her authority, warning the conjurer against attempting to force Arthur’s hand.

This episode starts with Arthur confronting Cynthia, the director of Xyrus Academy, and he challenges her to a duel. Here, Arthur tries different elements to best Cynthia, but cannot defeat her. His goal was to get noticed, and Arthur achieved that goal as Cynthia told him to join the academy right away. But Arthur decides to postpone his school plans. Apparently, Arthur just wants to be an adventurer for now, and after three years, when he is of age, he will enter the academy.

However, Arthur gets a strict no from his mother when she hears about his plans. This was expected from her because Arthur has just come back and now he wants to leave again. But after Arthur promises to return soon and visit often, she agrees. Arthur’s father also proposes a good idea that can ensure Arthur’s safety.

He asks his allies to volunteer to protect Arthur and Jasmine readily agrees to it. Later, we see Arthur looking for a proper weapon that he can take on his journey and for that, he goes to the auction house. Thankfully, here he gets a legendary sword that truly is built for him. It literally adjusts itself to fit its wielder.

Towards the end of this episode, however, nothing much happens apart from Arthur leaving for his next adventure.

The Beginning After the End Episode 11: Still

The anime now seems to be pushing the plot forward without much attention to production quality or animation standards. It is nothing but a bland adaptation of a very famous webtoon, and fans can not do anything about that. Just watch the anime and go to the webtoon for a better experience.
