The Batman International Trailer: The Riddler Wants to Unmask The Truth

Robert Pattinsons’ The Batman is one of the much-awaited DC movies. We’ve already seen a trailer earlier, which has shown is how dark Matt Reeves has gone with his story. Fans are definitely excited to see a new face for one of their favourite DC superheroes. Well, now there’s an international trailer that shows us more than what’s already out.

A few hours ago, a new The Batman international trailer was dropped by Warner Bros Japan. In the 1 minutes 37 seconds trailer, we saw some scenes from the first trailer. However, some new sequences feature Paul Dano as The Riddler.

Riddler has a wall full of newspaper clippings and photographs of different people in the Japanese trailer. On the clippings, there’s a text written that reads, “If only I knew then… what I Know now…” There are several pictures of Bruce Wayne on his wall.

Paul Dano’s The Riddler, a deadly serial killer is on a mission to find the truth about the Caped Crusader. In one scene, Dano’s character says, “I’m here to unmask the truth about this city.” One cannot get enough of how the trailer gives away all the dark, gritty and neo-noir vibes. The trailer ends with an evil laugh. We wonder who it is!

The trailer description translates to this – “Bruce, a gentle but mysterious young man, vows to take revenge on the murder of his parents, hides his true face with a black mask at night, finds a criminal, and tries to become a “Batman” who is hostile to evil. One day, a serial murder case that targeted a powerful person occurred. The criminal is the most crazy intelligence criminal in history, Riddler. When he commits a crime, he always leaves a “riddle” and provokes the police and Bruce, the best detective in the world.”

It further reads, “What is the reason for repeating the crime? And uncovered, past evils and father’s sins related to government conspiracy and blues… At the time of being cornered, something began to make noise and break in his mind.”
