That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 3, also known as Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken 3rd Season (転生したらスライムだった件 第3期) or Tensura 3, is a Japanese light novel where the art is given by Kawakami Taiki and story by Fuse. The novel series was initially serialized online from 2013 to 2016 on the user-generated novel publishing website Shōsetsuka ni Narō.
Micro Magazine obtained the series in 2014 and published its first light novel volume. As of October 2023, the series has 21 volumes. Yen Press has licensed the light novel for North America and released the first volume in December 2017. Tensura has also been adapted into a manga, which was published by Kodansha.
The anime series features PEACEKEEPER” performed by STEREO DIVE FOUNDATION, as its opening theme song. The ending theme song is Believer” by Rin Kurusu (来栖りん). The third season of the show will premiere on April 5, 2024, on Nippon TV, its affiliates, and BS11.
Tensura follows the story of Satoru Mikami, a 37-year-old corporate worker living a mundane and unfulfilling life in Tokyo. After being stabbed to death during a random robbery, Satoru awakens in a fantasy world as a slime, a low-level monster with the ability to absorb and mimic the abilities of other creatures.
Taking on the name Rimuru Tempest, the slime embarks on a journey to explore this new world and learn more about his newfound abilities. Along the way, he encounters a variety of creatures, including goblins, wolves, and dragons, and forms alliances with them, eventually establishing a nation called the Jura Tempest Federation.
As Rimuru grows in power and influence, he becomes embroiled in various conflicts and political conspiracies, including battles against powerful demon lords and struggles for dominance among the nations of the world. Despite these challenges, Rimuru remains determined to build a peaceful and prosperous nation, for his allies.

In this season, we expect to see Rimuru going against the Ten Great Saints, who will definitely be an immense challenge for him and his crew.
